Automatic activated carbon filter Nobel mod. FACD complete of filtering column, with vessel in coated carbon steel, with internal lining made with epoxy coated (thickness 300 µm) applied after sand blasting at the Sa3 of the Swedish scale; the external lining in polyuretanic acid-proof painting applied after sand blasting as above.
The vessel is made complete of man-holes, plate with a proper quantity of filter-nozzels made in polypropylene, for water distribution inside the filter.
The filter is equipped with INLET – OUTLET manifolds, including nos. 5 hydro-pneumatically controlled membrane valves to divert the flows during the cycle of regeneration, media filter including one layer of granular activated carbon with high adsorption capacity and a supporting layer of selected quartz-sand, spheroidal type.
Fully automatic control by electronic programmer, according to the following modes :
FACD/DT according to (adjustable) time schedule
FACD/DP according to pressure drop and/or time schedule.
Dual models : two filters installed on parallel and both on service in the same time. The regeneration, by time (DT) or by pressure drop (DP) is featured on one filter at a time. This arrangement allows to reduce the backwashing flow rate required
